Josh Simpson

Co-Founder

Mr. Simpson is the Co-Founder of T7 Capital, a boutique healthcare advisory firm founded in January 2025. With extensive experience in healthcare finance, he specializes in structuring and executing complex transactions across a wide range of healthcare-related assets, including skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, independent living, hospitals, behavioral health facilities, and ancillary healthcare businesses.

Prior to founding T7 Capital, Mr. Simpson spent 12 years at MCG Healthcare and Senior Housing, where he served as a Partner in the Senior Housing and Healthcare platform. He led a team of analysts, driving the origination and placement of real estate debt, investment sales, operating lines of credit, and equity raises across the healthcare industry. He played a key role in expanding MCGs expertise into new asset classes, including behavioral health, cash-flow loans, and ancillary healthcare services.

Throughout his career, Mr. Simpson has successfully negotiated over $35 billion in healthcare transactions, with more than $3 billion closed in 2025 alone. His deep industry relationships and extensive financing expertise have made him a trusted advisor to some of the largest healthcare real estate owners and operators in the country.

Before joining MCG, Mr. Simpson worked as an Audit and Tax Associate in the Commercial Real Estate Group at Ernst & Young. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Yeshiva University.
